Sima, 35, her husband Ahmad and their daughter Homa are driving a young widow Saba to her home village in the mountains. Sima's suspicions that there is more to her husband's trip than a simple desire to be helpful are confirmed when they run into bad weather. Traffic is stopped because the highway is impassable and all travellers are forced to spend the night in a nearby town.
Meanwhile, in the town, the police have set up roadblocks in an effort to apprehend a man who killed his young wife and her lover. Sima is at once horrified and fascinated by the crime. Indeed she thinks she may even understand what motivated the man. What would she do if she met him?

The story THE UNWANTED WOMAN reveals opposition and clashes in relations. In this story, we face a man whose wife has betrayed him and a woman whose husband has betrayed her. The audience has to make judgments a few times, but when the information becomes more complete, they find out that their judgment has been wrong and this game goes on until the end of the movie.
