Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, the biggest annual film festival in the Baltic countries is approaching its 10th anniversary edition that takes place from 23 November to 10 December, 2006 in Tallinn and Tartu, Estonia. Entries are called for all four sections of the festival:

main programme
* official competition "Eurasia" - fiction feature films from Europe and Asia
* Estonian feature film competition - feature films from Estonia
* non-competitive section - feature films

Animation Film Festival "Animated Dreams"
* official competition - short animations

Children and Youth Film Festival "Just Film"
* official competition - feature films for children and young people

Sleepwalkers Student Film Festival
* official competition - short films made by film or media students

NB! There are no sections for fiction or documentary short films. Short films are eligible only if made by students in any genre (for Sleepwalkers) or as animations (for "Animated Dreams").

Entry deadline is 15 August 2006 for short films and 15 September 2006 for feature films.
