The city of Haapsalu in co-operation with the Black Nights Film festival organises an horror film festival in Haapsalu on 16 - 19 March 2006. The festival wishes to spread cinematic art outside from the capital and where else than in the city of Haapsalu with it’s legend of the most famous ghost in Estonia - the White Lady - a more fitting atmosphere for horror films could be found. Prices: 40 EEK 30 EEK (discount for pupils, students and pensioners) 90 EEK (day pass) 300 EEK (festival pass) Tickets on sale at Piletilevi (www.piletilevi.ee) and in Haapsalu Culture Centre an hour before each screening. Opening party is free for the holders of day pass and/or festival pass. The films are not recommended for children under 16. NB! Budget accommodation in Haapsalu Sports Hall, 30 EEK a night.
